WorkBeaver is a desktop automation app that lets you create powerful workflows using natural language prompts, no coding, APIs, or integrations required. Just describe what you want WorkBeaver to do, and it builds the steps for you. Whether you need to open an app, click buttons, fill out fields, move files, or schedule a repetitive task, WorkBeaver translates your instructions into real actions on your computer.
And if you don’t want to write a prompt? You can show WorkBeaver what to do by recording your actions once, then reuse them anytime.
WorkBeaver runs on your device (Mac or Windows) and is secured with zero-knowledge encryption, meaning only you can access your workflows and data.
Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1. Click “Create New Task”
Start by clicking the “+ New Task” button on your dashboard.
2. Describe it, or Show it.
Most users start by writing a text prompt, like “Look for the top 10 restaurants in London and paste it on my Notes app” (Specify details you'd like to include). If you prefer, you can also choose to record your actions.
3. Review the Suggested Prompts
WorkBeaver will offer helpful prompt suggestions, including extra steps or details you might’ve missed to make sure your workflow runs smoothly.
4. Assign Application or Folder Access
Select the app, window, or folder where the automation should operate. This ensures your task runs exactly where and how you need it—no APIs or integrations required, just point to the right location.
5. Save Your Task
Name your task and hit Save.
6. Run Your Task Anytime
Just click “Run Task” to have WorkBeaver complete the task for you, instantly.
